This policy explains how Sentry Pure Water LLC, doing business as Mountain Pure Water (“Mountain Pure Water,” “we,” “us” or “our”), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit mountainpurewater.com, contact us, use our services or place an order.

Information we collect

• Information you provide: contact details, messages, product interests, order details, shipping and billing information, and information you submit for support, promotions or text-message enrollment.
• Order and payment information: Shopify hosts checkout and processes order information. Payment providers process payment-card details; Mountain Pure Water does not receive your full card number.
• Site activity: page views, referral source, browser and device category, and general performance information.
• Assistant activity: messages sent to Wally, the page being viewed and a random conversation identifier stored in your browser. If you request a discount, we also receive the email address you submit.

How we use information

We use information to provide and fulfill orders; process returns and warranty requests; operate, secure and improve the site; answer questions; recommend products; provide customer support; send communications you request; prevent fraud; comply with law; and maintain business records.

Checkout, fulfillment and service providers

We share information only as needed with providers that help us operate the business. These include Shopify and payment providers for checkout and payment processing; Sentry H2O for product fulfillment, shipping, returns and warranty support; hosting, analytics, chat, lead-management and communications providers; and professional advisers or authorities when required by law. Sentry H2O may receive your name, shipping address, contact details and order contents so it can fulfill and support your order.

Service providers may process information in locations outside your state or country and are permitted to use it only for the services they provide or as allowed by law.

Analytics and browser storage

We use PostHog and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site traffic and performance. PostHog is configured in cookieless mode for page views only: automatic interaction capture, form-text capture, session replay, heatmaps, surveys, error capture and performance capture are disabled. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate traffic and performance measurements without cross-site advertising tracking.

Your browser may store a Shopify cart identifier so your cart persists, a random Wally conversation identifier so the chat stays on one thread, and an internal analytics preference. You can clear this information using your browser controls, although doing so may reset your cart or chat.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number, consent record and message interactions to send recurring automated filter reminders, water tips, product updates and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information or text-messaging opt-in data and consent will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share it only with providers acting on our behalf to deliver, secure or support the text-message program, or when required by law.

Your choices

You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. You may also ask to access, correct or delete personal information we maintain, subject to legal and operational exceptions. Call us at (435) 990-3778 to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order support, warranties, legal obligations, dispute resolution and fraud prevention. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
