How it installs — the honest version

The Sentry H2O Shower Filter is an in-line filter: it threads between your existing shower arm and your existing showerhead. Standard 1/2-inch NPT threads fit virtually every US shower arm.

Installation:

Install takes about 5-10 minutes with basic hand tools (an adjustable wrench and plumber’s tape).

1. Unscrew your showerhead from the arm (hand-tight in most cases).
2. Thread the Sentry H2O filter onto the arm.
3. Thread your showerhead back onto the other end of the filter.
4. Turn the water on; check for drips and snug if needed.

Total time: 5-10 minutes. No permanent modification. Renters can install and remove it without leaving a trace.
